Yes, oh my god yes, I have been reading up on Dadaism. Gotta love it.

Actually I thought I'd even be a little pro-active in my readings and see what is possibly happening on the Melbourne scene with spoken word at the moment, and wouldn't you know it, I just missed out on an actual festival of the word by mere days! Days I says, days!

Looking into all of the webzines and poetry publications in Australia connected via the marvellous web I was actually quite surprised at the quality of some of the writing out there at the moment, and found it to be a little inspiring.

Should I pull out the ol'poetry notebook and give it another shot?

Considering some of the tripe I've come up with in the past....possibly this may not be the greatest of ideas, but damnit, who says I can't at least try?

And I shall finish with just a small taste of the modern Dada poem...

Powerfull stuff mmhmm? The interesting thing, though, it was taken entirely from spam. The modern disestablishment movement...Dadaspam! Spadadam! Daspamda! Or, mmm, whatever.
